Q:How do I register for a class?
A:
1. Please go to the class page that you are registering for.
2. Select your date from the drop down menu.
3. Fill out the registration
4. You will receive an email conformation.
5. Done! Easy as Strawberry Rhubarb pie.
Q: I bought a Groupon but the deal is over and I want another deal, what can I do?
A:
We will honor your Groupon price for any additional guests until 12/31/11, email us for more information.
Q: Where will your culinary classes be held? A:
Our classes are held at Saga Hill Cooking School and Event Center:

Q: How long are classes?
A:
All of our Classes run between 3 and 3 1/2 hours in length.
Q: What can I have to drink during my class?
A:
Alcoholic beverages.
If you would like to purchase the selected wine from one of our fine wine purveyors you may purchase it when you arrive to class. Wine is available from sources identified by Saga Hill Cooking and Events that sell directly to you for a fee of 9.95 / person.
You may also
BYOB and may pay for that upon arrival to class at a 9.95 / 750 ML bottle corking fee. This fee covers the cost of our glass ware, clean up, storage and service.
Your ticket purchase will include the purchase of wine by you from the third party source for educational use during the class.
Saga Hill Cooking and Events is not an alcoholic beverage licensee and does not sell or serve wine for compensation.
Q: How many other people will be in my cooking class?
A:
30 is the maximum number of students to ensure personalized service and instruction.
Q: What is the format of your classes?
A:
We offer only one style of class format: Hands on participation. Saga Hill Cooking and Events believe you get more from your class when you get into the mix and get cooking or tasting, depending on your class type.
Q: Do I have to cook or even like cooking?
A:
No, not really but we dare you not to have fun. Triple hot dog dare you….
Q: How much food do I get to eat?
A:
No one leaves hungry: guaranteed!
Q: Do I get a copy of the recipes?
A:
Yes, custom packets of all prepared recipes are available.
Q: Can I bring my mom (sister, best friend, my aunt Norma who just popped into town) to sit on the class, without paying because she won’t eat anything but just watch?
A:
No. Sorry Auntie Norma. Everyone who attends must purchase a ticket.
Q: What should I wear?
A:
Nothing flammable. Otherwise whatever makes you feel comfortable. However, open toe shoes are discouraged or anything you wouldn’t mind getting a little sauce on.
Q: What do I need to bring to a cooking class? A:
All class materials are provided, aprons, utensils, ect... Just bring yourself and a healthy appetite for knowledge.
Q: I’m a vegan, vegetarian, chickaterian, lactose intolerant, allergic to certain foods, dietary and or religious restrictions, don’t like celery or spicy foods et all, can I still enjoy the class?
A:
Why not! Saga Hill Cooking and Events prides itself on making you happy and will work with you to ensure you have the food you enjoy. Just let us know prior to your class via email.
Q: Can I host my own private event at my house or Saga Hill Cooking and Events?
A:
Definitely! We are industry leaders in providing unique and interactive parties for a special occasion or just a chance to get together. We host holiday parties, business teambuilding events, fundraising, your own gourmet club dinner, or just a stress free way to host a dinner party. Saga Hill Cooking and Events has the ingredients and experience to revolutionize a great catalogue of menus and ideas into the ultimate event.

Now the serious stuff
Although we are not big fans of rules, we find it a necessary business practice to strictly enforce the following FAQ and rules:
Q: What is your cancellation policy for classes?
A:
You may cancel your registration for a class up to 24 hours in advance of the class starting time and transfer to another class of the same title on a different day.
Q: How do I cancel a class?
A:
If you need to cancel your class you must email Saga Hill Cooking and Events within the 24 hours prior to your class. We do not except phone/voice message cancellations.
Q: Can I have a refund?
A:
Food is perishable and we order fresh product just for you. We cannot return the 3 delicious diver scallops we ordered for your dinner, so with great apologies there are no refunds or exchanges on classes that are cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the class.
There are no refunds once a class or Groupon has been purchased, the only available option is to choose the same class on a different date that works better for you.
Q: Why was my class canceled?
A:
Above all, we absolutely respect your time and are honored to work with you at Saga Hill Cooking and Events. Rarely, we occasionally we have to cancel a class due to weather, the date was not popular, ect… If we must cancel a class, you will be offered to attend a similar class at your preferred date before 12/31/11.
In these instances, registered participants will be notified by phone and email immediately. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to inclement weather, illness of staff, or other serious emergencies. In these circumstances, you will be notified immediately and we will facilitate rescheduling future class dates that work with your schedule.
Q: Who Moved My Cheese?
A:
Saga Hill Cooking and Events reserves the right to modify classes and menus. Due to the nature of buying fresh product sometimes very very very rarely have we had to make a menu substitutions. It is never the main ingredient but usually the Watercress looked better than the Arugula at the market kind of situation.
